THE COMPETITION
The HWY Apprentice Supported by GLAM Adelaide is the opportunity for any up and coming Adelaide based promoters to formulate, organise and stage their own event in the Highway’s Function Rooms. All completed entries will be considered, however, only 4 entries will be successful. 4 Apprentice teams will undergo apprentice workshops teaching each team the basic requirements of a promoter. After each workshop, teams will be presented with a challenge to complete and earn points going toward their final score. After the workshops are complete, you will be equipped with the knowledge you require to stage your own event. The 4 Apprentice teams will compete over 4 weeks staging their own event in the Highway’s Function Rooms on their designated week, gaining points for all aspects of their event. Each team will be granted a budget of $2500 to stage their event.
The winning team will be awarded $5000 cash, a trip for 2 to LA with 5 nights accommodation and become the inaugural HWY Apprentice with the opportunity to earn up to an additional $30,000 pa!
